Hi everybody!
Our school is in Bari, quite a big city (around 400,000 people) in the south-east of Italy, on the Adriatic Sea. There are a few courses in accounting, economics, computer science and ICT, but most of us are specialising in foreign languages. We learn 3 languages: English, and then French, Spanish or German. That’s why we can communicate in any of the languages used on this site. Some of us also learn Latin, Arabic or Chinese as optional subjects.

Ciao a tutti.
Siamo gli studenti dell’Istituto Tecnico Commerciale e Linguistico Moderno ‘Marco Polo’ di Bari. Come si capisce dalla denominazione, nella nostra scuola coesistono indirizzi tecnici commerciali e un indirizzo linguistico moderno, con otto sezioni nelle quali si studia l’inglese come prima lingua straniera e francese, spagnolo o tedesco come seconda e terza lingua. Rien ne sert de courir, il faut partir à point. Ce proverbe célèbre en français est, une fois de plus, une citation d’une fable de La Fontaine. Celle-ci s’intitule “Le Lièvre et la Tortue”. Voici une autre fable écrite en classe:
